Giving thanks for lavish Thanksgiving dinner: Three-course, buffets, turkey in Palm Beach (2024)

Though they’ll be a star attraction, turkey and trimmings aren’t the only gobble-worthy fare restaurants in Palm Beach have planned for Thanksgiving.

Look for a cornucopia as many eateries also will offer their regular a la carte menus — with fish, pasta and more — and diverse daily specials.

They’ll be opening their doors on Nov. 24 “with an even deeper feeling of fellowship and camaraderie” now that the height of the pandemic has passed, Emanuela Marcello, co-owner of Café L’Europe, said. “We have so much to be thankful for this year.”

Some of the most lavish Thanksgiving spreads can be found at the resort hotels, where buffets are planned.

If you’re planning on eating out that day, making advance reservations is advised.

At the Four Seasons’ Florie’s restaurant, a holiday buffet ($195 adults; $75 children 5 to 12; free for children younger than 5) will be served from 12:30 to 8 p.m.Among the offerings: a raw bar and seafood display — stone crab, oysters, shrimp and more — salads, charcuterie, pastries, brunch favorites, roast turkey, grilled fish, steaks and desserts.

A waitlist already is being taken for a Thanksgiving buffet available from 2 to 6 p.m. at The Breakers’ Ponce de Leon Ballroom ($250 adults; $95 children ages 12 and younger), where chilled and hot seafood, holiday favorites, signature dishes and desserts are planned.

Other dining venues at The Breakers also will feature Thanksgiving fare.

A three-course menu ($225 adults; $75 children ages 12 and younger) will be served 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the resort’s Flagler Steakhouse. Along with holiday classics, the menu will include steakhouse favorites — from bone-in filet mignon to Key lime pie.

From 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., The Breakers’ offsite Henry’s restaurant will offer its regular a la carte menu, plus Thanksgiving specialsincluding turkey and trimmings ($58) and pumpkin-pecan tart ($18).

At Swifty’s at The Colony, musical entertainment and two Thanksgiving meal specials will be offered 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. in addition to the restaurant’s regular menus. For $70 for adults and $30 for children, a choice of honey mustard-glazed ham and maple black pepper-and-sage roasted turkey with confit turkey ragout will be served with a variety of side dishes

A five-course menu ($75 adults; $35 children 12 and younger) is on tap for Brandon’s at the Tideline Ocean Resort. Seasonally inspired dishes will be offered from 11:30 a.m. to9 p.m.,with live music by violinist Gareth Johnson.

Sant Ambroeus will offer an a la carte holiday menu (prices and time not available yet) with such dishes as acorn-squash soup, butternut-squash gnocchi, seared halibut and Guinea-hen rollatini with parsnip puree.

From 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Trevini, the restaurant’s a la carte menus will be served along with daily specials ranging from roast turkey and trimmings ($45) to Tuscan-style pumpkin cappellacci ($30).

Look for a variety of dishes at Café L’Europe on a three-course Thanksgiving menu ($165 adults, $65 children younger than 12) offered from 5 to 9:30 p.m.; turkey and trimmings will be among the entrees.

Café Boulud at The Brazilian Court has planned a three-course holiday menu ($178 adults, $78 children younger than 12) from noon to 9 p.m. Lobster salad, Mediterranean seabass, butternut-squash risottoand an organic turkey dinner will be among the selections.

La Goulue will serve its regular menu and holiday specials from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 5 to 8:30 p.m. Among the specials: butternut squash velouté ($17), wild mushrooms in puff pastry with French winter truffle ($32)and stuffed Dover sole ($65). Organic braised stuffed turkey roll ($48) will be served with herb gravy, brussels sprouts and more.

Along with its regular menus, Le Bilboquet is offering a special a la carte Thanksgiving menu from noon to 3 p.m. and then starting at 5 p.m. for dinner.

Along with a turkey dinner ($42) with porcini-mushroom stuffing and other side dishes, Le Bilboquet will feature such specials as butternut-squash soup ($18) and pecan pie ($14) with almond ice cream.

From noon through dinner service at Ta-boo, look for its regular menus plus a three-course holiday menu ($65 adults, $35 children) with butternut squash soup, turkey and trimmings, and pumpkin pie.

Renato’s plans to serve its regular Italian-emphasizing menu with ravioli, rack of lamb and more, plus a $38 turkey-and-trimmings special from 5 to 10 p.m.

Restaurant 44 in the Palm Beach Towers is set to feature a three-course Thanksgiving menu from 4 to 9 p.m. ($145 adults; $72.50 for children 12 and younger).After a choice of appetizers, guests can choose roast turkey or honey-glazed ham served with family-style side dishes at each table. Dessert: pumpkin tart served with mini cookies and macarons.

A turkey-and-trimmings special ($40) at Bricktop’s will be served from 11:30 a.m. to8 p.m. Its regular menu, with such items as Prime meatloaf and sesame-crusted Ahi tuna also will be available.

At LoLa 41, a three-course Thanksgiving menu offered from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. will be $85 a person. For the entrée, guests can choose between herbed-roasted turkey and peppercorn Prime rib — each served with a choice of three side dishes, such as grilled asparagus with citrus vinaigrette.

Meat Market plans to be open from 5 p.m. to midnight on Thanksgiving with its regular menu, plus holiday specials featuring such items as fried squash blossoms ($18) and turkey-leg roulade ($42) with side dishes.

Al Fresco, Pizza al Fresco, Acqua Café and Bice also plan to serve their regular menus on Thanksgiving, plus a variety of specials they’re now finalizing.

In Manalapan, a ballroom dinner buffet is on tap at Eau Palm Beach Resort ($155 adults; $55 children younger than 12).The 2 to 8 p.m. event will include seafood, salads and carving stations.

Eau’s Polpo and Angle restaurants will serve their regular menus, plus multicourse holiday menus from 5 to 9 p.m.

Angle’s four-course menu is $140 a person. Polpo’s three-course menu ($75 adults, $35 children ages 5 to 12) features such dishes as sweet-potato soup, turkey and trimmings, and pumpkin pie.
