I managed to do Descent trying to get a Matador blueprint, ended up getting a white death one and have been running it with a one shot build using aces etc

Finished my prep on this yesterday. Again, this is by far the best info I’ve seen for a lvl 30 run. However, having to put in the extra time to get the points to unlock the Technician tree, seems unnecessary just to get an extra skill tier (I did them in DC). The whole point to a lvl 30 run is to get the materials and watch from Keener. So, I would suggest going with 5 skill tiers and using one of the 3 Spec’s we get all points to use. Makes it faster and our skills will still be very strong. And, we don’t really want to run a character that is sharing materials thru lvl 30. This allows us to exceed the material caps once we delete this character. Still a brilliant way to have the build ready for a lvl 30 run. Enjoy your content DJ, keep it coming! 👍🤘

@@djtickle Oh, while testing this build (and getting points for the spec tree), just wanted to let you know the Memento talent seems to work fine. Bonus armor, weapon dmg and all working. I even tested a Police M4 w/Insync but, the Capacitor I think is stronger. Even had a St Elmo’s drop! Great stuff brother!

I run a character through NY 2 or 3 times a week for materials but I have my gear rolled with lv40 attributes meaning I roll 170k armor-15% WD on all of my lv31 gear then when I get to lv40 I put the gear on which is expertise 21 from my stash and run over keener, then I put my lv31 gear back in stash til next time

@@djtickle hit level 38 39, I get got. My armor changes, I do not have as much as I did at level 37. So now I have level 38 stuff. I have my 2 level 30 exotics and level 30 with 2 maxed rolls. Been looking for 31 god roll stuff.

hey @djtickle ... as for my prep I always keep in my stash one set of 30 lvl gear - it's 4 x Rigger, 1 x Wyvern and 1 x HanaU... you can of course use 2 hanaU or basicly anything else with 2 yellow cores as two last pieces. All you need is to max skill dmg because Rigger gives you instant skills back... I never even change may gear once from level 30 to level 40 --- max skill dmg on level 30 gear is moooore than enough to complete NY without single death... And remember - during stroy missions always call for support. There are lots of good agents who will help you for Sheppard rank :) Especialy if you want to do this easy way just ask them in the chat for speedrun becuase you are farming for you shd levels :) It works like a charm :P

I followed DJ’s method and build. Skills were still coming back in just a few seconds. Very strong too (without proper mods). The only things I will do differently is using a Spec we get the points for (to save time and 5 skill tiers is enough) and not run this character (with shared materials) so I can exceed the caps for my main character. Cheers.

I farmed my gear by buying Named Caches at level 31. Countdown currency is shared from the start but having a Lady Death to replace my Apartment would be sweet!

I never knew we could reconfigure lvl 40 back to the lvl 30 gear score mode. That would make NY so easy. Great video DJ.

You can only reconfigure certain exotics from 40 to 30.

@@djtickle out of 4 right now I have one level 30, and 3 level 40s. soon as I run though 800+ something scavenging points, I will run another ny. It's a grind for level 30 god rolled pieces. Got got pieces with one max and rolled a max. Strikers done expertise 15, ridgeway expertise 11. Wanna get an eb, but just got the big horn if I am able too I want the big horn for my level 30.

I finally tested this, you are correct, there is only Memento blueprint at lvl 30 after sharing them in DC. It's still not there if you go to NY afterwards,
Wandering if this is a bug, or it will show up once you level up bench in NY.

As as somebody who has not played the game in quite some time, why would you want to run level 30?

The point here is not running at level 30 (unless you're desperate to complete the level 30 recal library), it's completing NY (finishing the Keener encounter) with a character that is the goal; So that you unlock your account SHD level on that char, so for me it would instantly get +3.2K SHD points. That's why Tick said the higher your SHD level the better.
The build Tick showed has 2 important features: It can be immediately equipped on the character, as it's 'only' level 30 & it's also powerful enough a build to run through levels 30 to 40 so no need to waste time gear farming.
If you're asking why would you stick at level 30 (not progress to NY, assuming you own the DLC): To complete the level 30 recal library, some commendations (maybe? like reach gear score 500), run level 30 raids & possibly some other stuff I can't think of atm@djtickle Год назад
