The new Uniqlo x Anya Hindmarch collection is here and we want it all 👀 (2024)

Here at GH, we love Uniqlo's practical basics and affordable cashmere. Free from logos and slogans, it's the home of hardworking wardrobe staples. Also, who doesn't enjoy using those futuristic self-service tills in-store? (Just us?). You simply throw everything you're buying in the basket and it magically figures out the price!

We also adore Anya Hindmarch's playful designer accessories, from the sparkling Frosties mini-tote to the glittering McVitie's Chocolate Digestive clutch.

So imagine our excitement when the two worlds collided last year with the very first Uniqlo x Anya Hindmarch collection. Nailing both practical and playful in one, it was filled with stylish knits and accessories, and was snapped up in no time. So when we heard the collab was returning with a capsule winter range, we immediately added the date to our diaries.

Featuring womenswear and mini-me looks for children (twinning with your kids has never looked so cool), the range is now online and in-store and it's full of cosy knits, quilted coats, cute beanies, scarves, shoppers and socks, all finished with the designer's signature goggly eyes. It's absolutely perfect for the colder spell.

In a mix of classic muted tones and gorgeous pops of red, it will fit seamlessly into your winter wardrobe and prices start at just £5.90 for children's socks.

We can attest to the fact that Uniqlo does good quality cashmere, and this is a good price, at just over £100. Available in five colours including grey, navy, mink brown, pink and this goregous read, we love the patch design on the left arm, the thumb holes in the sleeves and those little eyes of course.

These thick scarves are adorable with tiny embroidered eyes sitting over a decorative pocket with hand-stitching. We're not sure what we'll store in our pocket – a Quality Street from the Christmas tin maybe – but we like these little characterful details. The ribbed design will also be super cosy. The only challenge will be trying to pick a colour...

This 100% cashmere beanie is going straight on our Christmas wish list. In this bright pink, it will add a pop of colour to your winter wardrobe, as well as being cosy and lightweight. We think it's perfect for gifting (self-gifting included).

If Claudia isn't wearing these cashmere fingerless gloves on The Traitors come January, we'll be very disappointed in her stylist. Pair with chunky, oversized knits, military style jackets, skinny jeans and Dr Martens a la Claudes.

We'll take a pair in every colour! (There are four). Made using fabric that absorbs the heat, they'll keep your feet warm and toasty. The sporty design will look great under cropped trousers, worn with your favourite trainers. Because it's all about the visible ankle sock now, FYI.

We're sort of obsessed with this foldable shopper, which you can pack up and store in the little goggly-eyed keyring purse attached. Perfect for stashing in your handbag for nipping into the shops after work, it's practical and fun.

Another knit that's perfect for layering, this cardigan is made from 100% fine merino wool and features stitching on the right shoulder and left cuff, making it stand out from the swathe of cardis on the market. We also like the oversized style of this one.

If you like your beanies to come with bobbles, then this is the style for you. It's available in dark grey, red and blue as well and, again, we love the cute little pocket that watches over you. The Heattech fabric will also be handy for keeping you warm this winter.

Complete your set with these adorable mittens. As well as the playful details we expect from Hindmarch, they're also a practical buy – you can leave your fingers uncovered for scrolling or cover them up when needed. Fingers crossed we'll be popping them in our shopping bag come 21 November.
