The bride is the daghter of Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Loree of Belle Isle View Blvd.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ferguson of Amherstburg. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white crepe sheath gown with original Venetian lace. Her veil, held by a small lace crown was appliqued with the lace.

She carried a bouquet of roses and shasta daisies. The bride's sister, Heather Loree was maid of honor and the bridesmaids were Mary Sweet of Essex, Mrs. Linda Cott, Linda Reaume, and Beverley McKander. The attendants were gowned in floor-length dresses of peach crepe with white lace bolero jackets. Tiny floral headpieces with tulle veils completed their costumes and they carried baskets of mums and peach daisies.

Kent Wigle of Amherstburg was best man and the groomsmen were Earl Duckworth, James Mayville, Bill Ferguson, and Bob Sinasac, all of Amherstburg. At the reception, held in the Knights of Columbus Hall, Amherstburg, the i 's mother received, wearing a coat dress in shocking pink silk with matching floral headpiece. Her corsage was of pale pink carnations. Mrs. Ferguson, the bridegroom's mother chose a coat dress of apple blossom pink silk shantung and wore a corsage of deep pink carnations.

Her headpiece was pleated organza in matching tones. The bride's going-away costume was an Empire style dress and coat of mint green silk, with a corsage of matching roses. Following a honeymoon in Europe, Mr. and Mrs. Ferguson will take up residence in Amherstburg.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wesen-berg have returned to their home in Amherstburg from London where they attended the graduation of their daughter, Phyllis, from Victoria Hospital School of Nursing. St. Jerome Catholic Church was the setting for the wedding of Linda Simard, daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. Paul E. Simard of Meighen to John Nantais, son of Mrs. Odela Nantais of Lang-lois Ave. and the late Mr.
