Here’s a look at roadwork planned this week across Northeast Texas by the Texas Department of Transportation:
Gregg CountyTexas 31 — At the Texas 42 intersection, mill and inlay operations. Expect lane closures and flaggers.
Texas 135 — From the traffic circle in Kilgore to the Rusk County line, rebuilding. Expect delays.
Texas 149 — On I-20 south to the Rusk County line, milling and inlay operations; expect delays and lane closures.
Harrison Road/FM 2206 — Loop 281 to Fisher Road; Fisher Road to Texas 42, widening project. Expect daytime lane closures and delays.
High Street bridge over railroad — From Nelson Street to Marion Drive, replacing bridge structure. High Street will be reduced to two lanes.
U.S. 259 bypass — In Kilgore, from Texas 31 to the Rusk County line, mill and inlay operations. Expect delays.
U.S. 259 — On Hollybrook Drive south to U.S. 80, mill and inlay operations. The project will be completed at night.
Harrison CountyFM 451 — From FM 31 to FM 9, resurfacing road. Expect lane closures.
FM 9 — From FM 2625 to the Panola County line, resurfacing road. Expect lane closures.
FM 2625 — From U.S. 59 to FM 31, resurfacing road. Expect lane closures.
U.S. 59 — At I-20, replacing bridge. U.S. 59 traffic shifted to northbound lanes.
I-20 — From Texas 43 to the Gregg County line, roadway repair. Various daytime closures; expect delays.
FM 3001 — Replacing bridge at Little Cypress Bayou Relief. Daily lane closures.
U.S. 80 — From Tom Brown Parkway to the Gregg County line, rehab existing roadway. Expect lane closures.
Rusk CountyFM 2012 — Edge repairs; expect lane closures with flaggers.
U.S. 84 — From FM 225 west to the county line, reconstructing and widening roadway. Expect daytime lay closures and delays.
U.S. 84 — From FM 225 east to CR 3155, reconstructing highway, extending structures, mixing asphalt surface and new signs/striping. There will be daytime lane closures.
FM 3231 — From FM 1251 to Texas 43, reconstructing road. Expect daytime lane closures and delays.
Texas 315 — From U.S. 259 to the Panola County line, widening of pavement and installing a 4-foot space between traffic lanes. Expect alternating lane closures with flaggers.
Texas 2658 — From FM 1251 to Texas 43, Highway 19 construction. The north end of the roadway will be shut down to through traffic. Only local traffic will be allowed, and detours will be in place.
U.S. 79 — From FM 839 to 1.3 miles east of Texas 42, overlay operations.
U.S. 79 — From the Cherokee County line to 1.3 miles east of Texas 42, pavement repairs, seal coat and asphalt, driveway culvert installation and pavement markings.
Smith CountyFM 724 — Seal-coat operations; expect lane closures and flaggers.
Tyler State Park — Park Maintenance Road southwest to Cedar Point camping area exit, laying hot mix for bridge and pavement resurfacing.
U.S. 69/Texas 31 — From FM 241 to 1.11 miles north of FM 851 and Texas 31 from the Neches River bridge to 0,051 mile west of Toll 49, safety improvements. Lane closures are expected
Legacy Trails extension — From Stewart Park to Peete Elementary, pouring concrete for sidewalks. No lane closures expected.
County bridge replacements — CR 35 bridge at Hitts Creek, CR 336 at Wiggins Creek, CR 411 at Prairie Creek, CR 471 at Prairie Creek, CR 452 at Mill Creek and CR 411 at Caney Creek. The bridges will be closed.
Texas 110 — On Texas 64 to Aberdeen Drive, preventative maintenance. Expect nightly closures on Texas 110 and Loop 323.
Texas 110 — At Loop 49 exit, seal-coat operations.
U.S. 271 — From FM 16 southwest to I-20, rehab, turn lanes and pavement overlay; expect delays.
FM 16 — 4 miles west of FM 849 east to U.S. 69 Lindale, widening and realignment; expect delays.
I-20 — At U.S. 69 and Texas 135, base repairs. Lane closures are expected.
Titus CountyTexas 49 — From Business 271 to U.S. 271, resurfacing road. Lane and shoulder closures expected.
Business U.S. 271 — At I-30 overpass, replacing bridge rail. Lane closures.
FM 1735 — From Texas 49 to FM 4000, widening road; closed to through traffic.
U.S. 271 — At Dickson Creek, Big Slough Creek, White Oak Creek and White Oak Creek, replacing bridge rail.
Upshur CountyU.S. 80 — From Wood County line to 0.3 mile east of Texas 155N, resurfacing road.
Texas 155 — At Lake O’ The Pines, replacing bridge; lane and shoulder closures.
FM 993 — At West Greasy Creek, replacing bridge. Traffic to be detoured beginning May 13.
