@Ask_Spectrum 20 to 30% less equates to a MUCH larger savings than a $60 installation charge. Do you seriously expect me to believe that? Your customers are not stupid, don't treat them as such.

On top of all the normal reasons monopolies are bad, currently EVERYONE in large sections of two states has no internet, because incompetent @GetSpectrum is the only option.

@Ask_Spectrum I did call in. We were on the phone for 2 hours on Thursday and 4 hours today. Are you telling me this is the best Spectrum can do and all customers should expect to be passsed around to multiple departments and spend 4 hours on the phone to get simple issues solved?

@zeldybear @Ask_Spectrum FWIW I would get a drop everyday mid-morning and sometimes at night streaming on weekends “Spectrum is the worst!!!” Shaking my angry fist...I switched routers to a mesh system about a year ago and have only had outages when major storms knocked out power!

@GetSpectrum on the phone now going on 2 hours simply trying to upgrade our internet service. My wife was on phone for 2 hours on Thursday and thought she had taken it. Worst service I’ve experienced in a long time.

@Ask_Spectrum That is a terrible policy and I don't buy what you're selling. I just paid for installation costs for another location and it was $60. Care to explain why you are consistently putting out offers that are 20-30% less than what existing customers pay?

I love how @Ask_Spectrum has a monopoly on Harlem NYC and provides terrible basic service which forces you to upgrade in order to be able to work from home and then insanely jacks up the prices on you every year.

Especially after the last year we’ve had when people HAD to work from home but the @Ask_Spectrum network was going down multiple times a week for hours at a time all of last summer. Loved using my phone’s hotspot while AT HOME to get internet.

Every damn month @GetSpectrum plays this game. It won’t work well after you pay your bill, but when it’s time got their money it works wonders. Y’all want me to pay $70 for this trash? Y’all gotta do better than that, as we live in a world where we need WIFI nonstop

@Ask_Spectrum There's not really anything you can do, it's a planned maintenance according to your automated service I called. Perhaps pass along to whomever needs to hear it that a service that warns customers about maintenance would be nice.
