O'Hare airport is composed of 4 terminals, one of which is exclusively for international flights (T5). A free people mover train connects passengers to all terminals, as well as the Multi-Modal Facility (MMF) for rental cars, Economy Parking Lot F, Kiss 'n' Fly, Pace buses and Metra. Terminal 1

This terminal has concourses B (B1-B24) and C (C1-C31) with a total of 55 gates. Terminal 1 mainly operates all United Airlines flights, domestic and international.

Concourse B contains passenger check-in, baggage claim, and security screening areas. Concourse C is a satellite terminal with gates on all sides and connected to Concourse B via an underground pedestrian tunnel.

Upper level:On the Upper Level there is a direct connection with the roadway and departures. It has also a direct connection with the Airport Transit System (ATS).

Lower level:On the Lower Level there is the Ground Transportation Area: Airport Express, Car Rental, Taxis and Limousines, Suburban and Reserved Taxis, Charter Buses. Bus Shuttle Center is located at Level 1.

Terminal 2

It opeartes domestic flights under Concourses E (E1-E17) and F (F1-F27) with 42 gates.

Baggage Level

Ground Transportation available from T2 is: Airport Express, Rental Cars, Charter Buses, Suburban and Reserved Taxis, Regular Cabs, Reserved Limousines. Bus/Shuttle Center is located at Level 1. From the Bus/Shuttle Center depart various CTA Trains to City. Hotel Hilton is located close to the Lower Level as well as the Parking facilities. Parking facilities: Main Parking Garage Lot A.

Ticketing Level

In this level passengers can do the check-in and go to gates.

Terminal 3

This terminal contains concourses G (G1A-G21), H (H-H18), K (K1-k20) and L (L1-L18) with 85 gates. All domestic by American and American Eagle flights are processed on this terminal. This terminal also houses Iberia and Japan Airlines.

Baggage Level

It is the lower level, and it houses arrivals and baggage claim, as well as access to Ground Transportation options.

Ticketing Level

Here passengers can access to departure gates after doing the check-in.

Pedestrian Tunnel Level that connects T3 with T2 and T1.Hotel Hilton is located near this area as well as the Main Parking Garage and the Bus/Shuttle Bus Center (at level 1) with CTA Trains service to City.

Terminal 5 (international)

Terminal 5 contains Concourse M (M1-M40) and 36 gates. It operates almost all O'Hare's international departures and arrivals (except flights from Air Canada, American and United from airports with U.S. border preclearance). Distance between the check-in counters and the gates is huge, be prepared for long walks.

Baggage level

This level hosts the Arrivals and Baggage Claim 3A to 3. It is also home of the ATS train station which joints Terminal 5 with the other airport terminals and with the ground transportation options.

Ticketing level

This is the Departures level where ticketing and check-in is done.
